Edith is a freelance film and video editor who splits her time between NYC & Washington DC.
Raised in northern New Jersey, Edith grew up speaking fluent Spanish and obsessing over film and television from an early age. She began her editing journey as a medical science video and short doc editor at a teaching hospital in NYC, fine-tuning the balance between honesty and emotion, and perfecting her gallows humor.
She edited the Georgia PBS youth-focused docuseries “Hope Givers” which has been awarded two Southeast Emmys. She has recently locked her second feature film, (“Erased”), on the heels of her first feature “Lady Parts” winning jury and audience awards at festivals across the country.
When she’s not editing, Edith is busy overdoing it on the coffee every day and squishing her tiny Maltese-Shih Tzu, Muni.
